Discovery Angkor 5 days & 4 nights

Day 1: (-/L/D)

After arriving in Siem Reap you will be welcomed by one of our tour guides who will take you to your hotel. Visiting the temples will start shortly thereafter. If arrival time permits you will visit Angkor National Museum before lunch, if not, the visit will be made later during your trip.

In the afternoon, you will visit the great city - Angkor Thom - starting at the south gate, then Bayon, Baphuon, royal enclosure and Phimeanakas, terrace of elephant and leper king. Following these visits you will enjoy the sunset at Angkor Wat.

 Day 2: (B/L/D)

Your second day will start with a visit to Preah Khan temple, which was known as an old temporary city of king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218). You will continue to Neak Pean Temple, which was one of the 102 ancient hospitals of King Jayavarman VII who built this hospital temple for taking care people’s health. Mebon and Pre Rup temples will be visited later on. These two temples were built by the same king ‘Rajendra Varman II (944-967) to dedecate his ancestors.

In the afternoon, you will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, which is not only a wonder of the world, but the largest temple in the area.

 Day 3: (B/L/D)

Departure to the north of Siem Reap to visit the citadel of woman - Banteay Srei – a jewel indisputable of the Khmer art: entirely having been constructed by hard pink sandstone and perfectly preserved and restored. You will then drive to Kulen mountain 50 minute drive) to see the thousand Lingas river – Grand reclining Buddha and Waterfall.  It is also possible to swim and picnic.

In the afternoon, on your way back you will visit AKIRA land mine museum and then continue to Angkor site for your visit to Ta Prohm temple which was invaded by jungle and the one that "Tomb Raider" had filmed and Angelina Jolie was an actress.

Dinner at local restaurant 

 Day 4: (B/L/D)

On your fourth day you will drive to the northeast of Siem Reap (130KM) to visit the group of Koh Ker Temples, which were built during the reign of king Jayavarman IV (928-940).

On the way back you will visit Beng Mealea Temple, which was built in the 12^th century and covered within the jungle.

 Day 5:  (B/L/-)

This morning you will take a boat and discover the great lake "Tonle Sap," an interior ocean where there are many fish, which were exported by the multiple villages of fishermen.  These fishermen are also available for conversation.  You will visit a fish & crocodile farms as well. Lunch at local restaurant

After lunch, you will visit "Les Artisants d'Angkor" then the central market (old market) before transfer to the airport of Siem Reap for your international flight.

From 20 Dec 2009 to 5 Jan 2010 price above will be higher because of peak season, so the price will be charged. For 24^th Dec and 31^st Dec hotel will charge compulsorily for gala dinner of Christmas Eve and happy New Year Eve. So price will be charged more depends on the price of gala dinner of hotel.
